Carozzi Massimo

Massimo Carozzi è un artista sonoro, musicista e sound designer. Esplora le intersezioni tra suono e testo, immagine, scena, spazio.

Ha curato il suono e le musiche per documentari, film, spettacoli teatrali e di danza, collaborando con scrittori, registi, coreografi e artisti visivi.

E’ autore di audiodocumentari, cartografie sonore e podcast, trasmessi e pubblicati da Radio 3 Rai, Choramedia, Storie Libere.

Nel 2000, insieme ad Anna Rispoli e Anna de Manincor, ha fondato ZimmerFrei, partecipando a mostre, festival cinematografici, musicali e teatrali, sia in Italia che all’estero.

Ha pubblicato dischi con Random Numbers, Second Sleep, Yerevan Tapes, Xong, Kohlhaas.

Dal 2014 ha tenuto corsi di Sound Design nelle Accademie di Belle Arti di Bologna e Venezia e allo IAAD di Bologna. Dal 2022 è titolare della cattedra di Sound Design dell’Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara

Massimo Carozzi is a sound artist, musician and sound designer. He explores the intersections between sound and text, image, scene, space.

He has curated sound and music for documentaries, films, theatre and dance performances, collaborating with writers, directors, choreographers and visual artists.

He is the author of audio-documentaries, sound cartographies and podcasts, broadcast and published by Radio 3 Rai, Choramedia, Storie Libere.
