Foreign students who wish to enroll in the Academy must produce an official translation of their Degree (i.e. Dichiarazione di valore in loco), issued by the Italian Embassy in the country of origin.


Online registration (in Italian) for the entrance tests to the Academic courses (first and second level)   will be accessible from 9th of July to 20th September  2015.

Applicants need to register in the following website:

clicking on:

  • Menù 1 – Inserimento domanda di ammissione;
  • Accademia di Massa-Carrara;

and then introducing the required data.

Students must print out  the completed document, make a payment with a “bollettino” of  € 15.13 to the Post Office Account n. 1016 with the following “causale” “Tassa Governativa di Ammissione – Aba Carrara”.


The day of the exam (Entrance Tests),  applicants must produce the following documents:


  1. Print of the Application Form
  2. Receipt of the “bollettino” of € 15.13
  3. Identity Card or Passport
  4. Portfolio (only for second level courses)





Foreign students are required to get through the Italian speaking Language exam, which will be held on the 23rd September 2015, at 9:00 am, in  Palazzo Malaspina Via Roma, 1  Carrara.

Those who will pass the exam will have to support practical tests that will be held on the 24th and 25th September 2015 at the time that will be announced later on the website.



SECOND LEVEL COURSES – ADMISSIONS                                                        

Oral examination for the admission to the Second Level Courses (including the Italian speaking Language Exam) will be held on the 8th October 2015 at 9:00 am, in Palazzo Malaspina Via Roma, 1  Carrara .

Students will show off their artistic works (portfolio) and discuss it with the examination board.

Students must have an appropriate knowledge of the Italian Languge.
